DR. BILL CODE, BSc, MD, FRCPC

integrative medical advisor

Bill Code, M.D. is a leading expert in glutathione, the master antioxidant that is vital to the detoxification process, and has extensive experience in both brain research and addiction.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada and worked as a general practitioner before training in anesthesia and brain research.

Dr. Code’s knowledge of using glutathione and nutrition to support brain function came after he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1996. During his journey back from the neurological deterioration of MS, Dr. Code developed a thorough understanding of how to integrate food, supplements and wellness regimens into the healing process. Since then, Dr. Code has used his medical expertise and research skills to develop alternative therapies to regain health.

Dr. Code co-wrote the POINT OF RETURN tapering guide with Alesandra Rain and Andrea Crocker. POINT OF RETURN is the only out-patient tapering program tailored to meet the specific nutritional demands placed on the body during drug withdrawal. In fact, Dr. Code used the protocols in POINT OF RETURN to wean himself off Imipramine, a tricyclic antidepressant prescribed to him after being diagnosed with MS.

Dr. Code also co-authored Who's in Control of your Multiple Sclerosis? and Youth Renewed (with Claudia Tiefisher) and most recently, Winning the Pain Game (with his wife Denise Code).

Bill Code is currently involved in a 2-year Integrative Medicine training program at the University of Arizona. He hopes to share his knowledge with other like-minded healthcare practioners. He is an acclaimed speaker throughout North America and is committed to the integration of wellness regimens.
